Frequently asked questions...
What if my children doesn’t eat a wide variety of foods?
That is completely fine, throughout the programme and in a safe space you will have the opportunity to try different foods and get involved in the preparation and cooking of meals to introduce different foods. We will also work with everyone’s preferences so there is something for everyone.
I don’t want to be weighed in front of everyone, how does this part of the programme work?
The weighing aspect of the programme is a small part of the sessions, this will only happen twice throughout the 12-weeks and this will be done in a private and confidential space, where it does not have to be shared beyond the coach. You will also have the chance to talk to your coach in between sessions if you want to speak to them privately about weight.
It’s too expensive to have food refused by my kids, how will you help with this?
Throughout the sessions we will cover different tips and ideas on how to deal with food refusal and how to reduce this. We’ll look at how to eat healthily on a budget and get everyone involved in all aspects of food – from prep to trying different fun and nutritious snacks and meals.
I like the idea of cooking with my kids but this just takes too long and is far too messy
Throughout the programme we will encourage the children to get involved in the many aspects of preparing a meal. So, if its more challenging to get them involved in the actual cooking, it could be they help to choose meals for the week or help to lay the table, all little ways to get them more involved int eh food they are eating. We will discuss many different ideas and tips and tricks that might help to ease the situation.
